Lenard The Rat

This one was a bunch of fun, but it’s kind of a long story. The important bit of it is that I was asked by friend to draw a cartoon rat based on a mutual friend, who goes by “Lenard The Rat.”

G.F.O.R.C.E. #1 Completed Product

Here it is! The Final Product! G.F.O.R.C.E. #1 in all its glory! In total, this project probably took hundreds of hours, but ultimately the real number is unknowable. The script, logos, and colors (except on the covers) were all done by yours truly! Black and white line art, full color cover art, and the lettering was done by Sam Purata (@superpapersam on Instagram). Once all of the individual pages were complete, I had to assemble them into a PDF. That makes it easier on the printer that I used, as well as also being the only format that comiXology will accept a submission as. You can find the final printed comic book at gravitycomics.net, in digital form on comiXology, or scroll down to read it here in my portfolio free-of-charge.

This one was extremely fun. I wrote this comic book, hired an artist to do black & white line art, and then colored it myself. The black and white art that I received is on the left, and my final colored image is on the right. It took roughly 6 hours per page to color. These are pages 5, 6, and 25 of G.F.O.R.C.E. #1, available in print on gravitycomics.net or digitally from comiXology.
